Ha Giang loop

THE MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I am not even exaggerating, the Ha Giang loop motorbike loop tour was THE highlight of our trip to South East Asia. I am so glad we booked with Chestnut travel too! They were SO responsive via Whatsapp with any question we had before we left and during the travels to get there. Once we landed in Hanoi we went to their office near the famous train street and met with one of the booking agents who went above and beyond to prepare us for the tour, but also show us all the good food spots to eat in Hanoi! I highly recommend booking through Chestnut travel for this amazing tour, the amenities and schedules were perfect to enjoy this beautiful place...

Stumbled upon Chestnut Travel the other day when trying to find a last minute tour to Tam Coc. Hannah was excellent and booked us in on a superb tour that went to Hang Mua view point as well. The tour was a good price, and we were also offered a food tour. Gin took our food tour, and took us to several excellent spots where we got to try lots of unique and delicious Vietnamese dishes. Gin explained that they’re a new business and have only been open for a month and a half. Overall great customer service and lovely staff! Highly recommend!!!!

Ha long Bay trip / Hanoi food trip / Taxi to the airport

Gin is a lovely lady who arranged a trip to Ha Long Bay, and taxi to the airport for us. Apart from it, she took us on a short trip around Hanoi and showed us her favourite Vietnamese dishes. We had so much fun together! I recommend her travel agency - she speaks perfect English and is passionate about what she does. You won't regret anything! We already miss you Gin!

Die Tour war von Anfang bis Ende komplett durch organisiert und auch Sonderwünsche wurden erfüllt. Wir hatten mit Steven einen super Tour Guide. Die Kommunikation lief von Anfang bis Ende super. The Ha giang loop was one of the best things I’ve ever done and doing it with chestnut travel made it 10x easier. Their communication was very good and were constantly supporting you whenever you needed it. They booked sleeper buses for me and my mates and made it very easy to get on it. the group size is perfect for anyone who wants social nights but wants to know their group closely. We sent on the Ha Giang Loop. The tour was amazing and adventurous. The experience itself was amazing and our group was great! With the perfect mix of socializing with our group and drivers, and experiencing the culture and geography of Ha Giang, this is a must do!! The organisation of this trip and the transfers was amazing, chestnut travel checked in with me every step of the way making sure I had arrived safe and knew where to go. The views were incredible even in rainy season and the drivers were such great vibes (as well as always making us feel super safe). One of the best tours I’ve ever done. I did the four day tour and was never bored (I do think if you’re on a tighter budget or time limit 3 days is definitely enough time to fully experience the loop). Had an excellent time doing the Ha Giang loop, our drivers were great, felt very safe the whole time. All the hostels we stayed in were amazing. Chestnut Travel were great, they checked in on us every so often to make sure everything was ok. Tour guide was very helpful and super sweet. Would 100% recommend booking with Chestnut Travel. Also enjoyed that we had a small group of only 8 people.

We're in our late 40s and was bit cautious about booking as I felt it'll be dangerous. I was glad we booked as its one in a lifetime trip when you visit Vietnam. Chestnut Travel was amazing from start to end and reassured me with all details I needed.
Do upgrade onto vip sleeper as it'll be more comfortable for overnight travel.
Our group was 8 people with easy riders. Our tour guide Phu and his team was super amazing. They made sure we were OK and they drove carefully throughout the tour. We got to see amazing views around Ha Giang and the food and homestays were great. We got to experience local Vietnamese life and everyone was super friendly.
If you decide to drive own bike, make sure you apply for International Driver Permit (IDP) as this is essential in Vietnam otherwise you will be fined roughly £60 or $70 by police each time!
I would highly recommend booking this trip with Chestnut Travel as they are super amazing from start to finish. They checked in and made sure we are OK throughout the trip. The tour group was smaller which meant you had more of personal experience too.
