Cancelation policies

1. In case of cancellation due to Chestnut Travel

If Chestnut Travel is unable to organize the tour, it must immediately notify the client and refund the total money paid by the customer within three days of the tour’s cancellation. Payment can be made via bank transfer or wire transfer through Paypal.

2. In case of cancellation due to Customer

+ If you cancel your trip immediately after purchasing a tour for reasons such as illness or VISA denial, you should show necessary documentation and submit an email or letter with relevant material to Chestnut Travel as soon as possible. The negotiation process will attempt to return as much of the tour purchase as possible, and Chestnut Travel will go through all the steps to transfer the tour if other customers have a need to minimize the cost of Cancellation.

If the customer cancels the tour, the following cancellation fees will apply:

  • More than 10 days before the tour: 70% of the trip cost will be refunded
  • 7-9 days before the tour: 60% of the trip cost will be refunded
  • 3-6 days before the tour: 30% of the trip cost will be refunded
  • 2-3 days before the tour: 20% of the trip cost will be refunded
  • 1 day before the tour: No refund will be issued.

If we are able to negotiate with the supplier, we might able to obtain a higher amount of reimbursement.
